Blocking someone on TikTok stops them from viewing your profile, messaging you, or interacting with your videos. This shows you how to block a specific account and how to reverse it later if you change your mind.

Step by step
- Open the person's profileSearch for their username or tap their name on one of their videos or comments to reach their profile page.
- Open the profile menuTap the three-dot or share icon in the top corner of their profile to open the options menu.
- Choose BlockSelect Block from the list of actions. On some versions you may first tap a settings or more option to reveal it.
- Confirm the blockTap Block or Confirm when prompted. The person can no longer follow you, message you, or find your content while blocked.
- Unblock later if neededReturn to their profile, open the same menu, and choose Unblock. You can also manage your blocked list in Settings under Privacy.
