Step by step

  1. Put both AirPods in the casePlace both earbuds inside the charging case and close the lid for about 30 seconds to let them settle.
  2. Forget the device firstOn your iPhone, open Settings, Bluetooth, tap the info icon next to your AirPods, and choose Forget This Device.
  3. Open the lid and hold the buttonOpen the case lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds.
  4. Watch the status lightKeep holding until the light flashes amber a few times and then flashes white, which means the reset is complete.
  5. Pair them againWith the lid open, hold the case near your unlocked iPhone and follow the on-screen prompt to reconnect.
